Ever had that delicious fresh sauerkraut that your weird uncle used to make? Yeah, me neither. In fact, I never liked sauerkraut until one of my good friends insisted that I tried his homemade kraut, right out of the crock during fermentation. I tried it and was shocked! I couldn't believe how delicious it was and from that point onward, I was hooked. Every batch I have made since that day has been a success. Some are tangier, some are a little saltier and so on. Either way, I cannot eat that crap out of the bag or can from Aldi. Instead, I descend to my basement and grab a jar of ChubbyPreppers Sauerkraut!
